The Jamaican Scotch Bonnet Chilli belongs to the Capsicum Chinense family and - obviously - comes from Jamaica. The plant grows to a height of about 80 centimetres. One of the most famous chilli varieties because of its "Scotch bonnet" shape, it is very hot. The large fruits ripen yellow and are even hotter than those of the red Scotch Bonnet chilli.

Description

The aroma is fruity and sweet with a fruity-apricot flavour . On the Scoville scale, they reach up to 300,000 SHU. The minimum time until harvest is 110 days. The plant should be placed in a sunny position, the distance between the plants should be approx. 40 cm in the open.

The temperature for germination: 22°C to 28°C.
